Frequently Asked Questions:

1. I start in January, am I covered by the health plan starting in September?

No, NUSU does not receive the ancillary fee to pay for your health plan until you have registered for courses and Nipissing has accepted your tuition and ancillary fee payment.

2. When should I expect my reimbursement after I opt-out?

By the end of the semester. Once we are informed by the insurance company that the reimbursement has been sent out, we will post on our social media to notify students.

3. How will I receive my reimbursement?

When completing the opt-out application, you can supply direct deposit information. By doing so, you will receive the reimbursement from CampusTrust direct to your personal bank account.

Please email studentbenefits@pbas.ca with the details regarding the failed submission. They will get back to you as soon as possible.
