Wellness Week

Wellness Week

Time: All Week
Location: NUSU Office (F205), Education Practicum Office (F208) and Human Resources Office (B215)
Description: Donate children’s books and/or money to any of the above offices to help support children’s literacy in our area. These books will be given out for free to children in our area to get them to read and be imaginative.

Books for Brook is a literacy initiative established in memory of Brook Doseger, a 2016 graduate of Nipissing University’s Concurrent Bachelor of Education degree. Brook inspired many during her time here at Nipissing and across the globe. A favourite quote of Brook’s was “Oh, The Places You’ll Go” (Dr. Seuss), reminding us of her passion for literacy, travel and community – a passion that will continue to be cultivated and supported through this initiative.
